Through her monthly Beekeeping Today Podcast segment, “Winning at Honey with Stephanie,” and presentations at the local, regional, and national levels, Stephanie promotes the importance of honey shows and provides practical guidance on preparing successful entries. Her outreach encourages participation, builds understanding of judging standards, and demonstrates her commitment to advancing the association’s educational purpose.
Stephanie currently serves on the HJA Communications Committee and has served on the boards of the Walworth County Beekeepers Association, Wisconsin Honey Producers Association, and American Beekeeping Federation. She brings more than 25 years of administrative experience, extensive skills in project management and conference planning, and strengths in recordkeeping, correspondence, and meeting coordination. Stephanie seeks a board position to contribute her organizational expertise and perspectives as an exhibitor, judge, and educator. As the HJA implements its new governance structure, she would bring a collaborative approach to establishing clear procedures, effective communication, and reliable administrative practices. She is committed to building on the strong foundation established by HJA leadership by fostering appreciation for diverse honey and hive products, expanding educational outreach, and supporting standardized evaluation practices and the training and certification of honey show officials.
